Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great excitement that we extend a warm invitation to ECTRIMS 2024, a momentous event marking the 40th anniversary of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis. Join us 18-20 September 2024 in the captivating city of Copenhagen, Denmark, at Bella Center Copenhagen, where we will celebrate four decades of groundbreaking achievements in MS research and treatment.
Copenhagen, renowned for its blend of historic charm and modern innovation, provides the perfect setting for this landmark congress. As we gather in this vibrant city, we reflect on the remarkable journey that MS research has undertaken over the past 40 years. From unraveling the complexities of pathogenesis to pioneering breakthrough treatments, our collective efforts have reshaped the landscape of MS care.
In the spirit of advancing collaboration and knowledge exchange, we are delighted to introduce several new features coinciding with this year’s congress.
Our commitment to inclusivity is exemplified by the addition of a Pre-Day on 17 September, exploring the interconnectedness of neurological conditions including NMOSD, MOGAD, and more. Furthermore, we are excited to host a Patient Community Day, which will be held on 20 September, where we will simplify and share the latest insights on MS and other neurological conditions unveiled at our congress with those most impacted by them.
The Scientific Programme Committee has created an informative and inspiring programme for this year’s congress. ECTRIMS 2024 will include Scientific Sessions, Hot Topic Sessions, and Educational Sessions, along with selected Free Communications, Young Investigator Sessions, Poster Sessions, and Meet-the-Expert Sessions.
As part of our dedication to fostering meaningful connections, ECTRIMS 2024 will also feature a dynamic NeuroNetwork. This innovative space promises to enhance interaction, enabling you to engage with fellow attendees in an enriched and purposeful manner.
Recognising the evolving landscape of congresses, ECTRIMS 2024 will continue to embrace a hybrid format, to ensure that the exchange of ideas and insights remains unhindered, uniting the global MS community in a shared pursuit of progress.
We eagerly anticipate your presence at ECTRIMS 2024, where we will collectively celebrate the past, present, and future of MS research.
