ECTRIMS is pleased to announce its NEW ECTRIMS Pre-Day, a day dedicated to three key domains: Paediatric MS; Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody Disorder (MOGAD); and Autoimmune Encephalitis and Immunotherapy Complications.

ECTRIMS Pre-Day aims to catalyse collaboration, forge connections, and provide the support each specialised group deserves.

ECTRIMS 2024 Pre-Day participants will have the opportunity to attend four distinct sessions, with the goal of fully immersing themselves into all the key research presented throughout the day.

Mechanisms and Pathology. This session will include separate presentations on Paediatric MS, NMOSD/MOGAD and Encephalitis, with an additional discussion contrasting the three diseases.

Antibodies assays: measuring and pathogenesis. This session will include two presentations discussing the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and treatment of autoimmune and paraneoplastic encephalitis in both children and adults, and exploring the challenges and pitfalls in using assays to detect antibodies related to autoimmune and paraneoplastic conditions.
