ECTRIMS Patient Community Day is a day for people living with multiple sclerosis and related diseases to learn from top neurological experts about progress and updates being made in the treatment of their conditions.

In this programme, a roundtable panel of MS experts will discuss the latest progress being made in research, treatment and care – with a focus on trending topics – with plenty of opportunities for participants to ask questions about the latest research affecting their condition.

This event is available ONLINE and ONSITE, with FREE registration.

Programme at a Glance

The ECTRIMS 2024 Patient Community Day participants will dive into an exciting and informative programme featuring two interactive sessions. They will explore the forefront of multiple sclerosis research and treatment, focusing on groundbreaking topics like remyelination and myelin repair. Additionally, they will discover promising new therapies that could revolutionise patient care, along with practical lifestyle changes and effective symptom management strategies.

Session 1 will explore the latest advancements in remyelination and myelin repair, delve into emerging therapies targeting progressive MS, and examine the role of risk factors such as EBV. It will also discuss the impact of lifestyle modifications on MS, including diet, exercise, and environmental factors, alongside strategies for managing symptoms and enhancing cognition. Additionally, the session will address diversity in clinical trials and registries.
