Oral presentation
Important Guidelines for Presentations
Due to current regulations regarding financial transparency, IT IS STRICTLY MANDATORY that you disclose any conflict of interest (e.g. grant support, consultancy, membership on advisory councils, speaker’s bureau) and source of funding. Each presenter has to prepare a one-sentence statement which must be shown on slide 2 of your PowerPoint presentation.
Your presentation must be prepared as PPT or PPTX file in PowerPoint version 2003-2016 & 365 can be used, version 2013 and higher are recommended.
Please set the slide size to “16:9 – Widescreen” and landscape orientation. Portrait orientation will not be displayed properly.
Pre-Upload of Presentations
All speakers will have the possibility to pre-upload their presentation prior to the congress to a protected server.
The pre-upload will be made available until 24 hours before the start of the session.
Detailed instructions on this will be sent to all speakers approx. 3 weeks before the congress.
Speakers’ Service Centre (SSC)
The Speakers’ Service Centre (SSC) is located at the end of the balcony after the entrance and will be signposted accordingly.
All lecture rooms will be equipped with a computer and a data projector (beamer) for PowerPoint presentations only. Presentations must be handed in via memory stick or via your own laptop at the SSC before the lecture.
It is essential for a smooth run of the congress that all speakers hand in their PowerPoint presentations at least two hours before the start of the session. Speakers will have the opportunity to check their presentations on PCs available in the SSC.
Speakers that have used the web-upload to hand in their presentation are requested to visit the SSC to check their presentation.
