ECTRIMS will host MSMilan Patient Community Day on Saturday 14 October 2023, 15:00–17:00 CEST, at the Allianz MiCo Milano Convention Centre in Milan, Italy, and online. This day presents a unique opportunity for individuals living with MS and related neurological conditions including NeuroMyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) and MOG Antibody Associated Disorder (MOGAD) to:
- learn about the latest advancements affecting their ongoing care & treatment options
- ask & receive answers from top neurological experts about the latest research affecting their condition.
This is an onsite and online event with free registration. The event will be held in English, with live translation offered in Italian, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
With over 2.8 million individuals[1] around the world impacted by MS today, ECTRIMS wants to make sure it can share the latest research unveiled at our meetings with those most affected by it. We hope this event empowers those living with this and other related conditions to be better informed about decision making affecting their treatment and care options.
Mar Tintorè, ECTRIMS President; Clinical Chief of Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis Centre of Catalonia (Cemcat), Neurology Department, Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona, ES; Event Co-Moderator
Pre-registration is required for the onsite and online event. Programme information and how to register can be found on the ECTRIMS website and social channels.

Why was this event organised?
ECTRIMS is an independent non-profit organisation that hosts the world’s largest research meeting dedicated to advancements in research, treatment and care in MS and related neurological conditions. This year’s annual congress – a joint meeting with ECTRIMS and ACTRIMS involving more than 9,000 MS researchers, clinicians, and specialists – will be held 11–13 October at Allianz MiCo – Milano Convention Centre.
In line with ECTRIMS’ mission, MSMilan Patient Community Day aims to simplify, share and explain the vast research knowledge unveiled during this annual meeting with the rest of the MS community. This is the second edition of this event, following a pilot one held last year in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
MSMilan Patient Community Day is being held in collaboration with the American Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS) and supported by the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association (AISM).
